Schedule Appliance or Metal Pickup
Small Metal Items less than 50 pounds such as table top appliances, coffee makers, toaster, vacuum cleaner, and any other mostly metal item can be dropped off at the Recycling center at 201 Dey Road daily, except Holidays, from 7:30 AM to 3PM.
White goods and scrap metals items over 50 pounds are picked up by appointment only.
White Goods items consist of appliances: Full size Stove/Oven, Dishwasher, Microwave, Washer, Dryer, Refrigerator/Freezer (doors must be removed) Dehumidifier/Humidifier, Air Conditioner
Large Scrap Metals are items that are made predominantly of metal: Cast Iron Sink, Exercise Equipment, Grill, Fire Pit, Metal Furniture, Bed Frames, Lawn Mower, Snow Blower (empty of gasoline/oil), Cabinet, Tools, Light Fixtures, Fencing, Basketball Hoop (separating plastic backboard/base from the metal)
Pick-ups are scheduled weekly and are picked up Wednesday through Friday. Items must be placed at the curb Tuesday night.
Reminder: Large items such as couches, wood furniture and other non-metal large items are considered Bulk items and are collected on the second garbage collection of each week. You do not need an appointment for Bulk non-metal items.
