L.E.A.D.

Wayne Township, along with the Wayne Board of Education, has teamed up to provide every 5th grade student in the Township of Wayne, a ten (10) week Anti-Drug program called L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs).
This Wayne Alliance sponsored program is an evidence-based, non-profit program, that develops the social and emotional skills of all students.

Early Warning System Policy

It is the policy of this department to implement and utilize Guardian Tracking® Software as an early warning system for tracking and reviewing incidents of risk and provide timely intervention consistent with the New Jersey Attorney General’s Law Enforcement Directive No. 2018-3.

Megan's Law

Megan's Law cases are handled by the Criminal Investigation/Detective Bureau. This law was passed after a rapist and murderer who took away the little girl's life. This happened in July 1994 in Hamilton Township in New Jersey.
