Wayne Township, along with the Wayne Board of Education, has teamed up to provide every 5th grade student in the Township of Wayne, a ten (10) week Anti-Drug program called L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs).
This Wayne Alliance sponsored program is an evidence-based, non-profit program, that develops the social and emotional skills of all students.

The purpose of this policy is to maintain procedures for dealing with the immigrant community in compliance with New Jersey Attorney General Directive 2018-6.

It is the policy of this department to implement and utilize Guardian Tracking® Software as an early warning system for tracking and reviewing incidents of risk and provide timely intervention consistent with the New Jersey Attorney General’s Law Enforcement Directive No. 2018-3.

It shall be the policy of the Wayne Township Police Department to conduct reasonable suspicion and random drug testing of applicable employees contained in Section I of this policy.

The Wayne Police Department would like to better serve the Autistic/Special Needs community.

Megan's Law cases are handled by the Criminal Investigation/Detective Bureau. This law was passed after a rapist and murderer who took away the little girl's life. This happened in July 1994 in Hamilton Township in New Jersey.

Wayne Township's First Responders, in participation with national efforts, launch the "In case of Emergency (ICE)" campaign.
