Affordable Housing FAQ

1. Can someone 55 years old go into senior housing?
No. In order to apply for Senior housing you must be 62 years old or older.

2. When applying for affordable housing do I provide original copies of personal/financial document?
No. Please provide copies for all additional documentation.

3. How is it determined who gets the unit? A lottery system is utilized. Each eligible application receives a number.
Those numbers are entered into a randomizer program and a winner is determined from that.

4. Can only Wayne Township residents apply for affordable housing in the township?
No. Affordable housing is open to everyone within the 50 united states.
